5 Actual, Real Ways to Practice Self Love

5 Actual, Real Ways to Practice Self Love

If you like videos like this, join our community of likeminded babes by subscribing here – – we’re all about working on ourselves, living good lives and learning as we go.

Welcome to the Self Love 101 Series! I’m making an ongoing series all about the art of self-love – one of the most important topics, and also one of the fluffiest (my role – to make self-love non-fluffy).

Finding actual, real, practical advice when it comes to self-love is HARD. All of the advice feels like it ends with ‘just love yourself’ – and I struggle with that, really badly.

So I’m scratching my own itch. We’re diving into self-love together, with practical, actionable, real advice on moving forward in your own self-love journey.

Sending all of the good vibes and loving thoughts your way – see you soon!

I’m a tragedy survivor. I’ve spent the past six years "healing myself" though, I’ve only just realized I was making myself worse. At the end I’d December I will be officially unemployed, due to having run out of sick leave after a work related injury. It’s my dream to get my life and health back on track so that I can live a life of adventure.

Thanks for this. My mind has regularly been quite unhealthy and it’s been like this for a while. I know I can’t immediately put these tips to use; I just reject them because they feel ridiculous and impossible right now, but I KNOW there will be a moment in the (near) future when I am ready to do some of these things. So I’ve saved this video for another time, but I just wanted to say thanks in advance, because I know it’ll be useful to me in the future. I just kinda hate myself most of the time and I’ve noticed it’s not… healthy. Step one is there I guess.

Very good. So true it takes time and its a muscle that takes time to build it up. This whole year has been a transformation. Depression has lifted off my life and im more compassionate with myself and i actually like myself. Which enables me to be a better person and i have more energy for life.

loveing your self is not about looking in the mirror or taking a selfie thinking how hot you look or delivering your self in a way to act and look as you think others think you should…
Self love is more like self respect in the fact we have been given the gift of life…
Love your self enough to not drink to much or poison your body and mind with toxic things… love your self enough to take care of your body, not for vanity but for the health and vitality of your body…
Taking care of your body and mind because life is a gift and the fact that you are here is a mirrical…
You are a mirrical, so love your self and others around you deeply with nothing but respect.
    Marcus @ReshapeTheStars x

I got a tattoo the other day of a compass and I considered it way to big.m for what I wanted. The tattoo artist and my best friend convinced me that it was better that size becuz of the details. At the moment it made sense to me. Now I kind of regret it. I wish it was a bit smaller. NEVER AGAIN. Next time I should litsen to my self.

i just had a slap in the face that i need to stop forcing myself to feel so unhappy, stop convincing myself i’m not worth anyone’s love bc it’s getting me nowhere and every time i say i’m working on being better it’s evident i’m not so thank you for making this series. it’ll help guide me through what i need to do to stop feeling so down all the time and returning to all the bad things over and over again even if i think i’m over them. thanks again, i really need real, useful tips on feeling better.

  36. Pearl Ephraim on February 7, 2019 at 6:24 pm

I needed this. I don’t love myself at all, I don’t know how to and this depresses me every day! I always put people and other things first. For 2019 I want to work on myself and love myself. This is a great video for me to start.
