Considering how divided our world is today, I highly recommend that each person on the planet read this book. I’m actually planning on reading it again. 🙂

You might want to check out "What To Do When The Wheels Come Off" It’s inspirational, funny, deep and a very easy read all at the same time. It has changed my life. It’s an unusual and great book! Keep up the wonderful content guys!

It’s important I think to explain the anology as to how "sharpening the saw" came about. "A guy comes along two guys who are cutting a tree with a dull saw." "The third guy says you know if you "sharpen that saw" the work will go faster the guys say nope we’re on a deadline gotta keep cutting." They are so under pressure of getting the task done they are being inefficient. It means don’t be afraid to take time out to do the little things to make the work go smoother.

  20. João Varanda on February 7, 2019 at 6:03 pm

I like these kind of books but it’s easy to fall into a trap: reading more and more of them trying to look for an easy sure fix technique to improve your life. Even if you learn about the best and most productive ways to live, it only matters if you put it into practice. Just know that even if you have the best productivity hacks in the world, there will always be difficult moments when you’ll want to quit and just ignore what the book teaches. I’m not saying you shouldn’t read more and try out new things, but maybe its good to pick one and follow it consistently instead of reading it and moving on to the next one. I myself have reread several times Chris Bailey’s The Productivity Project and try to base my life on his principles. In the book he mentions a lot of other great self-help books, but I stick to this one because consistency is what leads to success, not finding "the one" trick.

I have read a bunch of self-help books, this book is the only self-help book you need if you are skeptical about self-help books. That’s why it has been selling for decades and is still a bestseller.
